Buddha Air’s flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu faced an unexpected diversion today due to severe weather conditions. Originally scheduled to depart at 7:25 AM, Flight 664, an ATR 72 aircraft, was delayed until 9:15 AM because of persistent rain in Pokhara.

The adverse weather conditions continued to impact the flight’s journey, preventing a successful landing at Tribhuvan International Airport. Consequently, the aircraft was redirected to Bhairahawa Airport, where it landed safely at 10:20 AM.

The flight, carrying 72 passengers, was among several affected by the April rains, which have disrupted regular operations in Kathmandu. Passengers experienced delays but were safely accommodated in Bhairahawa.
