Kathmandu,Nepal: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli visited Tribhuvan International Airport to assess the aftermath of the Saurya Airlines crash, which occurred shortly after the plane took off for Pokhara at 11:11 a.m. on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister, accompanied by Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak and Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Pandey, inspected the crash site and was briefed at the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority's rescue coordination center.
During the visit, Prime Minister Oli announced the formation of an inquiry committee to investigate the accident, which tragically claimed the lives of 18 people. The injured pilot is currently receiving treatment. The investigation aims to uncover the causes behind the crash and ensure accountability.
