Kathmandu,Nepal: Tribhuvan International Airport resumed operations at 12:53 PM today, following a tragic plane crash that occurred earlier in the morning.
The Saurya Airlines aircraft, en route from Kathmandu to Pokhara, crashed at the airport around 11 a.m., causing significant disruption to flights and landings.
Information Officer Gyanendra Bhool confirmed that the airport's operations were halted for nearly two hours after the accident. The situation is now under control, and normal airport functions have resumed.
