Kathmandu,Nepal: Air services have resumed at Rara Airport in Mugu, following a week-long disruption caused by adverse weather conditions. Summit Air and Tara Air have recommenced flights as weather conditions improved, according to Krishna Rijal, Chief of Rara Civil Aviation Office, Talcha.
The recent spell of incessant rainfall led to thick fog, grounding flights and stranding passengers in the mountain districts of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. With the resumption of flights, passengers expressed relief and joy as travel became possible once again.
