Kathmandu,Nepal: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has initiated the auction process for three aircraft belonging to Shivani Air. A dedicated evaluation committee established by the authority is currently overseeing the proceedings. These ultralights are stationed at Bharatpur Airport.
Despite Shivani Air submitting an action plan to settle outstanding dues a year and a half ago, communication with their representative has been unfruitful. Consequently, CAAN has proceeded with the auction process. The evaluation committee is actively engaged in preparations for the ultralight auction. "Applications for participation will be invited shortly," stated a CAAN official.
Shivani Air has been non-operational for over a decade and still owes Rs 5.5 lakh in service fees to the authority.
