Kathmandu: Following a Friday scuffle between customs staff and police personnel at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), the Ministry of Home Affairs has swiftly moved to investigate the incident.
A three-member committee, overseen by Joint-Secretary Thaneshwor Gautam, has been constituted to delve into the details of the altercation. The team, further comprising Deputy Inspector General Rajeshnath Bastola from Nepal Police and Under-Secretary Kul Bahadur GC from Immigration Administration, will work efficiently to get to the bottom of the matter.
