"MD Helicopters Surges with Highest Orders Since 2008, Focusing on Customer Trust and Expansion"

MD Helicopters has achieved its most significant annual order intake since 2008, with 25 helicopters booked last year, as announced today. This milestone, including orders from both military and civil sectors, reflects a strategic shift for the company. Notable transactions include a Nigerian federal government order for 12 helicopters and commercial deals for MD530Fs serving various missions.

Among the civil variants, VIP aircraft for Clemens Aviation and utility aircraft for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and WCF Aerospace (on behalf of Skydance Helicopters) demonstrate MD's versatility in meeting diverse industry needs.

Jason Lindauer, MD's VP of Sales and Marketing, credits this success to a dedicated team and the trust customers place in the company. He emphasized ongoing efforts to engage directly with customers, suppliers, and prospects, reinforcing relationships and gathering valuable feedback.

In the wake of emerging from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2022, MD Helicopters has undergone significant enhancements. These improvements encompass elevated customer support, increased direct communication investments, manufacturing efficiencies, spares availability, and the cultivation of strong supplier relationships. The company's strategic approach involves rebuilding product support and incrementally scaling up helicopter production under a new leadership team, including a CEO and board of directors.
