In October, the expansion of civil aviation transport in China persists.

According to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), China's civil aviation transport demonstrated continued growth in October.

The sector experienced a substantial increase in total transport turnover, reaching 11.01 billion tonne-kilometers, a surge of 158.6 percent compared to the same period last year.

Additionally, the number of air passenger trips handled in October exceeded 56.05 million, marking a remarkable year-on-year increase of 252 percent. Furthermore, the cargo and mail volume for China's civil aviation sector in October reached 675,000 tonnes, reflecting a 37.7 percent growth compared to the previous year, as reported by the CAAC.
