Set for release in the second half of 2024 from the Columbus, Mississippi assembly line, the enhanced H125 features an upgraded cockpit, new autopilot, and redundant hydraulic and electrical systems.

Jérome Ronssin, Head of Light Helicopters Programme at Airbus Helicopters, highlighted the H125's unparalleled performance and value, emphasizing the IFR feature's significance for all-weather missions. Targeting FAA certification in the latter half of 2024, the new capability aims to meet the growing demand for critical missions, including law enforcement, emergency medical services, and enhanced training.

With close to 4,200 H125 family helicopters worldwide, the model dominates the intermediate single-engine helicopter category with a remarkable 63% market share in 2022. The past year witnessed a sales record, with 161 H125 helicopters ordered, 39 in North America.

In a notable milestone, Airbus Helicopters celebrated delivering over 20 H125 helicopters to Nepalese operators in the past five to six years.
